GOMO “THE OG 5G”

5G technology recently arrived in the Philippines.

While the big telco brands clambered to get themselves 5G-ready, newly-launched telco baby GOMO, wanted consumers to know one thing that made it technically superior from the very start – GOMO was 5G-ready From The Beginning.

THE OG 5G: The GOMO Creation Story

Historical revisionism of biblical scale, showing how even before 5G was ever known on this side of the earth, GOMO was already there. And yes, it has always been good with awesome 5G features like data that does not expire.

THE UNFINISHED OG AD

The key was to communicate how the brand was ahead of everyone else. And that included launching ahead of everyone else. Even if the launch material was not yet finished. And so before the main material, the unfinished version was released online, so raw it actually stood out amongst the glossy, overproduced ads of other telcos.

THE FINISHED OG AD

The finished main material was released soon after, replete with visual and audal effects to recreate the Bible’s most epic creation stories.

THE OG ENDORSERS

Correspondingly, the brand’s social media featured its unique, most OG endorsers: dinosaurs, spartans, even ancient gods.
