Most Filipino GenZ think their telco sucks. It’s probably because the country’s traditional telcos offer limited data packages that just CAN’T keep up with how data is used nowadays. That’s why the market was ripe for a NEW game-changing telco.
This is where GOMO comes in, the Philippines’ first fully digital telco with an awesome app for no expiry dataaaaaaaaaa.
The brand was scheduled to launch by October 2020. But as COVID-19 forced businesses to stop operating, GOMO’s launch was in trouble as well.
So how could we launch a telco in the middle of a pandemic?
Well, we decided to UNSTOP the year.
2020, UNSTOPPED!
We started a movement to unstop all the things 2020 has canceled, reminding GenZ that whenever life tries to stop them, they can always find a way to break through.
As a challenger brand in a highly competitive telco market, we had to go all out with whatever assets we had to promote our service.
We didn’t have the budget of bigger telcos, so we made sure to make the most out of our stock photo subscription.
With its ‘We Don’t Stop’ mentality, GOMO celebrated its anniversary on October 2021 with the GOMO fam.
Even if most productions have been postponed because of lockdowns, GOMO found a way for its quirky creativity to shine through.
‘Mo Creds is an in-app feature from GOMO that allows subscribers to convert their mobile data into vouchers for other apps and services.
To help educate users on this, we created a campaign centered on “Momo” and his ninja friends, the brand’s ambassadors for ‘Mo Creds.
